Secure mail

The High Commissioner’s Office can receive digital correspondence with digital signatures, meaning e-mails that have been digitally signed and/or encrypted. The High Commissioner’s Office would like to encourage anyone contacting us by e-mail regarding sensitive personal data to use digital signature. Digitally signed e-mails cannot be sent directly to our staff’s individual e-mail accounts. E-mails with digital signature must therefore be sent directly to The High Commissioner’s Office’s main e-mail address:

Please note that the above is applicable to Danish institutions. It is not yet possible for Faroese private individuals or institutions to send secure e-mail to The High Commissioner’s Office or other Danish authorities.
